It’s Christmas! What's In it For Me?

It's December 25! Its Christmas to Many! The day majority of the Christians in the world chose to commemorate the birth of Jesus (not Biblical). It is a day the Christian faith adherents, happily and joyously celebrate the gift of the Father's redemption promise, through Jesus' birth.

The Christians believe that God came in the form of man in the person of Jesus (Matthew 1:21; 2:1,2) to atone for the sin of mankind, having disobeyed God and lost the glory of God to the devil in the Garden of Eden. (Genesis 3). Jesus' mission on earth was achieved through the shedding of blood, which was the costly price for sin and the only solution to saving man from sin into the Loving Arms of a Loving God.

Today we are no longer under the condemnation of the guilt of sin (Romans 8:1) because we have the Saving Grace from God for Salvation, for eternal life. However, our hearts and minds tries to make us feel we don't deserve God because we have sinned, 1 John 3:20 "For if our heart condemns us, God is greater than our heart, and knows all things." God is greater than our hearts and can make everything right for us.

But the question is: the sin that was atoned for, and washed away by the blood of Jesus, is the world and its dwellers yet in sin and even graduating higher in sin today?

The answer is YES! There is still sin in the world, there are atrocities, evil deeds, unkindness, unforgiveness, unfaithfulness to God, unfaithfulness to a spouse, killings, rape, stealing, kidnapping, fighting, hatred, idolatry, homosexuality, and apostasy. The world is rather stricken with sin and all sorts of perversion and ungodliness.

There are people who do not know the 'Reason for the Season', there are people who do not know the essence of Jesus in this celebration, there are people who are ignorantly in sin, there are souls seeking not a physical gift but spiritual gift of the everlasting gospel message to give them Hope for eternity, strengthening their minds that all hope is not lost.

We must remind people in words and action of the reason for the season. We must let Jesus know that in remembering His birth its about advocating His love for mankind, His request and plea for hearts to be restored and returned to the Father's love. That the defeat He gave Satan on the cross of Calvary (Luke 23:33-46) is continuously sustained by the ways and means of His chosen ones on earth (1Peter 2:9). That in the phase of toxic economy and desperate moments, the devil won't cease the opportunity to allure men and women desperate for livelihood to gain authority in their hearts. But the sons of men and daughters of God will be busy reaching out with the message of Hope and Love of God.

"But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light;" 1 Peter 2:9 (NKJV)

This is what's in it for us Christians, Jesus Must Be the Reason for the Season, known and reminded in the hearts of Men. Projecting and Proclaiming the kingdom's Hope of eternity in the decaying world, in a crying world, in a longing world.

"Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,

teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age." Amen. Matthew 28:19-20 (NKJV)

For this mission, we are assured of His absolute authority, His Blessings, His guidance, His Providence. He shall empower us in all ramifications, His Spirit shall not depart from us in Jesus name.

COMPLEMENTS OF THE SEASON!!!
